About the opportunity:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Sr Applications Specialist to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth of our professional video products, including SMPTE 2110 Streaming Products and HDMI, DP, and SDI products for broadcast, post-production, and live events.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the professional video products segment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and product support.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, actively participating in industry events and networking activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and product management, to develop and promote Christie Digital Systems' product offerings.

· Provide accurate sales forecasts and market insights to inform product development and strategic planning.

· Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to effectively position Christie Digital Systems' products and services

· Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training for customers and prospects.

· Prepare and negotiate sales proposals, contracts, and agreements.

· Meet and exceed established sales quotas and revenue goals.

The experience and skills we value:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the professional video, broadcast, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of SMPTE 2110, HDMI, DP, and SDI standards and protocols.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients.

  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory and occasionally beyond.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
