About the opportunity:

We are looking for an Electronics Hardware Developer to join our cross functional engineering team to support Christie’s advanced R&D and new product design. You will be able to see the immediate impact of your efforts in the technology we produce which captivates audiences at cinemas, theme parks and sports arenas across the globe.

Responsibilities:
  • Enable the next generation of Christie products by supporting the design and build of bench top test set and prototype hardware
  • Support Christie’s advanced R&D new product Design
  • Read schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, or engineering instructions for assembling electronics
  • Design, develop and test manufacture prototype designs.

The experience and skills we value:
  • Associate’s Degree or Technical Certification in related field or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong understanding and ability to read and use PCB schematics
  • Experience in PCB hand soldering (new and rework) of SMT components
  • Experience splicing, crimping and building wire harnesses
  • Experience in testing, troubleshooting and repair of electronics and electronic components
  • Familiarity with PCB design, layout, bring-up and debug
  • Experience with optical systems or digital projection
  • Experience with electrical assembly and/or system integration

  • Ability to perform and prioritize tasks with minimal oversight

WORKPLACE GUIDELINES:

  • Standing, Bending, Pushing/Pulling
  • Light Lifting (up to 25 lbs.), Moderate (25-50 lbs.) to Heavy (50 lbs.+)
