We are looking for a Senior Manager, AR & Credit Operations, to lead our global credit‑to‑cash function across the Americas and EMEA. This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role for someone who understands that strong financial discipline and a positive customer experience go hand in hand.

The Senior Manager, AR & Credit Operations is responsible for leading the Accounts Receivable, Credit, & Collection function across the Americas and EMEA, with full ownership of the credit-to-cash process. This role operates as a hands-on leader, directly managing a cross-regional team based in the US and UK without intermediate layers while remaining actively engaged in complex transactions, escalations, and decision-making. The position is accountable for driving operational excellence, optimizing working capital, managing credit risk, and enabling revenue growth through disciplined credit and collection practices. This role serves as a key functional leader within Finance, with increasing involvement in strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead global AR & Credit Operations across the Americas and EMEA
  • Act as a senior, customer‑facing leader for complex credit and collections matters
  • Drive cash flow and working capital performance
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Care, and Finance to support growth
  • Build and lead a high‑performing, cross‑regional team
  • Accountable for the performance and effectiveness of the AR and Credit Operations function across the Americas and EMEA
  • Accountable for maintaining operational continuity and execution quality without intermediate management layers
  • Accountable for improving working capital performance, including DSO, aging, and AR turns
  • Accountable for driving operational efficiency, scalability, and process optimization across AR and credit workflows
  • Accountable for driving cross-functional accountability for timely collections
  • Accountable for providing insights that influence business decisions and improve cash flow performance
  • Own and lead the AR and Credit Operations function, ensuring efficient and timely execution
  • Directly manage and develop a geographically distributed team with no intermediate management
  • layer, and remaining actively involved in day-to-day operations
  • Establish and monitor KPIs (DSO, aging, AR turns, dispute cycle time, etc.)
  • Lead initiatives to improve cash flow, reduce overdue balances, and enhance visibility
  • Support development and refinement of global credit policies, risk frameworks, and approval structures
  • Lead collections strategy and execution to minimize overdue receivables
  • Act as escalation point for complex or sensitive customer issues
  • Deliver reporting on AR performance, credit exposure, reserves, and trends
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve working capital and reduce risk
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly updates to leadership
  • Support broader treasury and finance initiatives as a subject matter expert in AR, credit, and cash flow performance

Location: Hybrid position in Cypress, California

The experience and skills we value:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, or related finance functions, including leadership experience in a global or multi-region environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with ability to engage both internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Advanced analytical and financial analysis skills, including credit risk assessment and interpretation of financial statements
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, Oracle) and reporting/BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; strong working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
