About the opportunity:

We are looking for Sr Systems Analyst (JDE) for our BTS team in India.

Responsibilities:

• Working with user groups, develop credible recommendations for the optimal use of technology (current and future) to suit the business requirements. Identify less visible cross-boundary business needs through a deeper understanding of business processes and challenges.
• Through an understanding of the capability and limitations of technology, influence the business owners to adopt realistic system solutions. Provide options and alternatives.
• Create specifications documents and report designs using best practices, and work with the Business Analysts/Developers to ensure understanding and usability. Assist with testing and evaluation processes.
• Analyse user and process problems and design programs, applications and reports to solve these problems.
• Apply system solutions to business problems through the design and programming of automated systems and custom reports.
• Interface with users, on occasion, to understand business and system issues currently being modified to ensure quality of design and end user satisfaction.
• Stay up to date with toolsets available for programming languages currently being used.
• Guide, direct, mentor and coach Application Development Group as pertains to projects and enable growth.
• Lead small development projects for interfaces
• Provide detailed project tasks

The experience and skills we value:

• 7+ years of experience in JDE EnterpriseOne development
• 5+ years of design and development for applications, and reports.
• Experience of analysing user and process problems
• Experience writing SQL for JDE tables

What Will Put You Ahead:

• Experience in Transform software development
• Experience in MagicSoftware development
• Experience in Perceptive Content (ImageNow) development
• Experience in managing JDE security and/or Scheduler
• Experience in Oracle OTBI, BI Publisher or OIC development
• Experience in an iseries/db2 environment
• Experience in performing JDE Package builds
