About the opportunity:

We’re looking for a Senior Inventory Planning Analyst who will manage and predict the inventory levels for multiple business units within Christie Digital. You’ll have opportunities to work with Corporate Planning, Manufacturing and Purchasing teams to set key target inventory levels across the entire supply chain – assessing safety stocks, customer service levels, and establishing a market driven inventory strategy. This position requires a combination of statistical and analytical skills and the ability to build partnerships with invested parties at multiple levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate accurate and timely inventory forecast reports for Christie Digital product lines by market segment and/or geographic region
  • Perform inventory forecast reviews integrating historical data, operational plan vs actual, and statistical analysis
  • Develop inventory models, incorporating current and future products
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate reporting and analysis of data
  • Measure inventory forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvement
  • Develop and measure key performance indicators to track and evaluate inventory forecast performance
  • Support inventory outlier reviews with Business Unit/Site Materials, Operations, and Purchasing teams
  • Perform reviews of Master Data management, such as ABC velocity reviews, MTO/MTS decisions, etc.
  • Take the lead to continuously review, report, analyze and make recommendations to cross functional leaders to optimize inventory levels in concert with product availability
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities

Location: hybrid position based in Kitchener, Ontario.

The experience and skills we value:

  • University degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
  • Must have excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

What will put you ahead:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of JDE system and statistical methods
  • Expert in reporting programs, i.e. Excel, BI
