About the opportunity:

We're looking for a skilled assembly technician to join the manufacturing team.

Responsibilities:   

  • Assemble and test professional video products, including SMPTE 2110 Streaming Products and HDMI, DP, and SDI products, according to assembly instructions and specifications.
  • Inspect assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to optimize assembly processes and improve product quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Document assembly processes and maintain records of completed assemblies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall efficiency of the production process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

The experience and skills we value: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electronics or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in assembly, preferably in the professional video or broadcast industry.
  • Knowledge of SMPTE 2110, HDMI, DP, and SDI standards and protocols is an advantage.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and specifications.

WORKPLACE GUIDELINES: 


Occasional: 

  • Standing, Bending, Pushing/Pulling
  • Light Lifting (up to 25 lbs.), Moderate (25-50 lbs.) to Heavy (50 lbs.+)
  • Reaching above shoulder level
  • Travel (ex. Noise Volume etc.) 

Frequent: 

  • Reading and Writing
  • Ability to Comprehend
  • Sitting and using finger movements
  • Communicating orally
  • Handling objects (manual dexterity)
  • Reason and analyze.
  • Perform calculations.
