Team Overview
Our Research & Development (R&D) team is the technical talent at the heart of our product suite, overseeing the product development lifecycle from concept to delivery. From engineering to quality assurance to data science, the R&D team ensures our customers seamlessly use our products and can depend on their consistency.
Responsibilities
The Software Engineering team is a group of full stack developers who design, develop, and maintain our products, tools, and infrastructure.
Your day-to-day job will consist of:

Manages the overall work for a team of product engineers and is accountable for maintaining a high level of team performance
Monitors and drives all individual and team performance goals
Coaches and develops product engineering employees
Works to increase team efficiency and effectiveness in order to achieve long term goals
Participates in hiring of new team members
Performs any HR related tasks
Ensures analysis of performance and development of improvements to performance of web application.
Guides implementation of new web application software features and products following best practices such as authoring of unit tests, writing maintainable code, applying established patterns and algorithms
Ensures development of software to support internal initiatives, tools, update framework and application functionality
Work as part of an Agile SCRUM team in the planning, scoping, estimation and execution of technical solutions
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
To be considered for and to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field required
- 15+ years’ successful work experience in software engineering, responsible programming experience using a standard coding language and/or platform required.
- 5+ years experience writing detailed program designs for medium to large sized projects preferred
- Project management experience preferred
Mandatory requirements
- 10+ yrs Good in C#, .Net, HTML, CSS, JavaScript , SQL server, Good in either ASP.Net Webforms , typescript or UI frameworks (angular/react etc)
- Working knowledge in Git, Jira and Scrum
- Software Architecture and Design Patterns
- Performance Optimization
- Security best practices
- CI (Continuous Integration)
- Database Knowledge (Database Design, Database Optimization)
- Azure Knowledge
- NUnit Testing
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
- Solid understanding of business practices with fundamental understanding of project management methodology
