Purpose Driven Position

Reporting to the Regional Commercial Director, NA, the Commercial Manager’s focus will be on driving new tech sales and adoption within the North Eastern US territory. This role entails seeking out and closing new sales opportunities, bringing on new clients and owning their territory. You will play a pivotal role in expanding CarbonCure’s market reach with a “hunter’s” mentality, understanding the market’s evolving needs and delivering tailored solutions for new customers. You will be eager to learn the technology, market, and customer behavior knowledge and leverage that into a position for growth.

What You'll Need To Succeed

  • 10 - 15 years in sales and account management, preferably in the concrete and/or construction sector, selling solutions to technical leaders, P&L leaders and other executives.
  • A “hunter” mentality, experience in pursuing leads, presenting solutions, and moving deals toward close.
  • Business acumen and communication style enabling you to interact easily with customers and senior leaders.
  • Proven track record of methodically building up a business and hitting targets.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of exceeding goals and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Adaptability, at ease with continuous change that is the hallmark of a technology company.
  • Comfortable working with a small team and helping it grow.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assume ownership of the complete sales cycle, starting from discovery to customer implementation.
  • Leverage your existing network and cultivate enduring, value-centric relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers.
  • Willing to lead and collaborate with teammates to build and demonstrate proof of concepts.
  • Interpret data to identify customer pain points and enlighten them on the value proposition offered to alleviate those pains.
  • Utilize expertise in the field and business insight to comprehensively grasp customer requirements and address challenges with ingenuity and financial prudence.
  • Take the lead in initiating, negotiating, and finalizing new contracts and amending existing contracts in line with CCT legal compliance.
  • Educate the specifying community on the capabilities of CarbonCure Technologies.
  • Use of CRM software (Salesforce.com) to track ongoing customer progress and communicate internally with leadership and specialist teams.
  • Attend regional and national trade shows, as necessary.
  • Assist with all marketing-related inquiries (customer announcements, sales training, marketing collateral, events, etc).
  • Travel minimum 40% of the time.
