The Registered Nurse will support our OB Team at Family Health Center of Worcester.
The RN Staff Nurse for Primary Care provides direct and indirect nursing care in a family practice setting. The RN will participate in all aspects of care to patients including triage, health maintenance teaching, and administration of vaccines/medication. The RN will also collaborate and communicate with other nursing professionals, medical assistants, and medical providers to ensure high quality patient care.
Educational Requirements:
Graduate of accredited school of nursing required; AS or BS in nursing preferred.
Experience Required:
Two years full time professional experience or part time equivalent
Professional Licensure/Special Skills and Certification Required:
Must be licensed as a RN by the Massachusetts State Board of Registration. BLS required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Precept medical assistant staff by assisting and providing direction with procedures and activities that facilitate patient centered care.
Reporting Relationship:
Reports directly to the Manager of Perinatal Services
