Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Operations and Implementations is responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of client implementations for Brim’s platform. This role partners with internal teams and external vendors to plan, coordinate, and execute implementations from scoping through transition to steady-state operations. The role provides supports the solution design, testing, risk management, and issue resolution to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for client implementations by providing subject matter expertise and advise on best-fit solutions, integration approaches, and operational impacts.
  • Define and document business and system requirements, including business analysis requests, change requests, and solution documentation.
  • Contribute to integration planning, solution reviews, and project walkthroughs to ensure alignment with business objectives and platform capabilities.
  • Create Operations Monitoring & Reconciliation (OMRs), and lead/conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), OMR testing, and end-to-end testing activities across vendors and internal teams.
  • Investigate, replicate, and resolve production and customer-reported issues, documenting problem statements, solution architecture, and outcomes.
  • Coordinate testing execution, defect tracking, issue resolution, and reporting to ensure high-quality, stable releases.
  • Manage vendor relationships (including TSYS), monitoring delivery, risks, timelines, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure effective handover from implementation to operations through clear documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness.
  • Identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • At least 10 years’ experience in the payments and/or credit cards industry with a minimum of 5 years of experience in implementation, configuration, integration and/or conversions.
  • Strong working knowledge of TSYS, Slack, MS Office suite, Confluence , Jira solutions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to work effectively across teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must have great attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through.
  • Self-motivated and will strive to achieve best results as you improve along the way.
  • Financial Industry or fintech experience preferred.
