Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in modernizing legacy applications and transforming traditional development workflows into a fully automated CI/CD model. The ideal candidate has experience working with on-premises infrastructure automation, and DevOps best practices to streamline deployment pipelines and enhance software delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, and deployment.
• Migrate and modernize legacy PHP codebases, improving automation and reducing technical debt.
• Collaborate with development teams to adopt DevOps methodologies, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Implement containerization and orchestration solutions (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Automate monitoring, logging, and security compliance for on-premise infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot build and deployment issues and enhance system reliability.
• Establish best practices for configuration management, version control, and release management.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, or system administration.
• Expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Strong hands-on experience with legacy code transformation into modern DevOps workflows.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, PHP and Python for automation.
• Familiarity with security best practices for DevOps, including secret management and compliance with ISO, PCI, and SOC2.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Expert Knowledge of PHP testing frameworks (e.g. PHP Unit)
  
  

Preferred Qualification

• Experience migrating monolithic applications to microservices.
• Familiarity with database automation (MySQL).
• Experience working with regulatory compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO, SOC2).
