Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager who is proficient in Credit Cards and Payments. Their primary responsibility is to meticulously plan, manage, lead, and oversee the end-to-end delivery of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business and/or enterprise needs and strategies. This role is pivotal in driving lean and effective business solutions that uphold project benefits. As a Project Manager, one must provide support to complex integrations by formulating program/project scope and objectives, detailed business and technical requirements, work package deliverables, as well as validating developed requirements, overseeing testing & implementation of applications and end-user training. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have advanced experience in post-Implementation activities and transition to day-to-day operations The position entails delivering world-class solutions that support business strategies, achieved through agile methodologies in collaboration with blended client methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and maintain a detailed grasp of Brim’s operations and technology infrastructure, as well as developing an understanding of client operations and technical capabilities to support successful integration with Brim.
  • Provide senior-level consultancy to enhance business and technical processes, documentation, and results.
  • Advise development teams on requirements, implementation, and business application usage.
  • Analyze and document business needs through engagement with product management and identifying any existing system opportunities as potential roadmap items to Brim leadership.
  • Oversee end-to-end project management, ensuring scope, budget, timelines, and resources are effectively managed.
  • Generate stakeholder-focused ideas and solutions through requirements gathering sessions.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams across all phases.
  • Participate in forums to manage stakeholder expectations and identify opportunities.
  • Facilitate adherence to Statements of Work and oversee third-party vendor management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Product Manager, specifically in delivery-based projects with external clients.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and product management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Figma, etc.)
  • Proven experience in product management preferably in US and Canada credit cards and payments industry including prepaid cards and cross-border payments
  • Strong knowledge of the payments and banking industries, including experience with credit cards and payments.
  • TSYS/Credit Card, Fiserv, or FIS experience preferred.
  • Expertise in MS Project, MS SharePoint, and other Project Management applications
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and organized business documents.
  • Proficient in influencing, negotiating, and change management.
  • Use Case Analysis and Development knowledge.
  • Understanding activities, tasks, practices, and deliverables related to defining and documenting business functionality and information requirements.
  • Skilled in Relationship Management, building healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Effective verbal Communication skills, including tone, style, and structure.
  • Knowledge of Interpersonal Relationship techniques for constructive collaboration with individuals and groups.
  • Strong skills in recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process issues.
  • Ability to effectively utilize various tools and techniques in problem-solving.
  • Expertise in providing technical or business guidance to clients.
  • Capacity to influence decisions both internally and externally
  • Proficiency in documenting, analyzing, and improving business processes.
  • Experience in establishing and supporting partnerships and strategic projects.
  • Organized with a proven track record in meeting timelines and budgets, adept at problem-solving, and possessing exceptional planning and organizational skills.
