About the role:

As the Sr. Lifecycle Marketing Specialist, you will increase engagement and optimize the user experiences for Borrowell’s vast member base. As a key member of the Revenue and Engagement Marketing teams, you will own lifecycle efforts end-to-end through a mix of email, push notifications and later, SMS.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & manage email and push notification journeys and campaigns to improve member onboarding, monthly engagement, retention and winback. This includes copywriting, building emails (drag and drop style!), setting up automation logic, journey mapping, deployment & reporting — you will have ownership of the funnel!
  • Leverage Borrowell's extensive data to deliver a highly relevant and personalized content experience
  • Champion A/B and multivariate testing efforts to uncover insights and optimize top-of-funnel performance
  • Work with Product, Engineering and Design teams to support GTM plans for new product/feature launches
  • Build dashboards to identify performance trends, improvement opportunities, & measure KPI performance accordingly. Present insights and recommendations to the wider business every month and Sr Leadership quarterly
  • Support the architecture and coordination of lifecycle journeys to ensure clean and positive member experiences
  • 2+ years experience in email management/testing, deployment, user segmentation, data analytics, and reporting
  • Prior experience in designing, delivering and managing a series of email automations/ journeys
  • Data & results driven. Comfortable with designing data logic to trigger journeys/ emails and also working with data to understand results and drive recommendations. We love data funnels here!
  • Test-savvy. Experience in running A/B and multivariate tests on content, design, and segmentation to optimize top-of-funnel performance
  • Ability to work within enterprise-level email service providers (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, Braze, etc.) & CDPs (Blueshift, Hightouch, mParticle, etc.)
  • Proven success in working with cross-functional teams including the ability to communicate ideas, collaborate on execution and report on results

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with Looker, Tableau or other data visualization tools
  • Basic understanding of SQL for audience segmentation
  • Experience working in a fast paced, high output scale-up environment
  • HTML/CSS language is an asset
  • French is also an asset

We are remote-first across Canada. We have a coworking space and office available for use in Toronto near Union Station.
