About The Role

Book4Time is looking for an organized and self-motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The A/R Specialist’s role will include working closely with our Finance, Customer Success, and Sales teams to manage credit, maintain the timeliness of receivables, and resolve A/R issues.


How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Creating sales orders and emailing invoices through NetSuite to customers
  • Manage all A/R correspondence and inquiries with customers using the reporting features through NetSuite
  • Handle customer inquiries, disputes, and exceptions in a timely manner
  • Obtain, review and post customer Wires, ACH and cheques
  • Obtain payment information for customers paying by credit card
  • Reconcile customer accounts on a periodic basis
  • Monitoring and following up with Customers (phone and email) on all overdue invoices
  • Interact directly with sales and customer service departments to set up new customer accounts in NetSuite while ensuring correct information is maintained in all systems (NetSuite, SalesForce, Book4Time internal platform).
  • Assist the Manager with the development, implementation and maintenance of theA/R accounting policies and procedures, including the NetSuite – Book4Time Finance Manual
  • Ensure all the monthly processes are completed by internal deadlines
  • Assist the finance team with ad-hoc projects
  • Scheduling payments for vendors and preparing cheques and wire transfers.
  • Reviewing and processing employee expense reports.
  • Maintain historical data by keeping internal customer records up to date
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Any other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • University degree/college diploma – preferably with a specialization in business or accounting
  • Minimum of three years of experience working in an accounting department - specifically in an A/R function
  • Strong communication skills - experience with customer-facing written and verbal communication
  • Working knowledge of G-Suite apps – Google Sheets, Docs, Drive
  • Experience using ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
