Our BonLook - Toronto Eaton Centre location is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience with you and join us as an Assistant Store Manager.
This position is a full-time role working 30-40 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Sunday. Availability to work days, evenings and weekends is required.
In this role, you'll be responsible for all aspects of the business, as assigned by the Store Manager. You'll support all store operations and functions along with customer experience. You'll train, develop and create space for others to achieve results.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Encouraging people development through our core values
- Delivering continuous training to motivating the store team
- Managing team performance with ongoing coaching
- Helping to proactively recruit people who are aligned with our culture and brand vision
- Demonstrating leadership on the sales floor by setting the standards around product knowledge, customer experience and brand image
- Leading, coaching and providing timely feedback around sales plans and key performance indicators
- Listing, delegating and managing team responsibilities within all areas of the business
- Support the Store Manager in the overall store recruitment strategy and developing our talent bench
- Ensuring standards are consistently executed and utilizing company tools to better serve the customer
- Ensuring supervisors and stylists clearly understand and meet expectations
- Being accountable for the monthly strategies and the operations
- Representing the BonLook brand: reflecting the company values and brand image at all times
- Meeting store sales goals
As the Successful Candidate You Have:
- 1-2 years of experience in a management or relevant experience
- Availability to work days, evenings and weekends
- Customer service and sales experience
- Experience in retail business (an asset)
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrates a creative approach towards customers, management and complex situations
- Demonstrates leadership and is a team player
- Offers courteous and professional customer service
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly
- Ability to work alone and within a team
- Ability to prioritize emergencies in daily running of the business
- Ability to understand sales targets
- Ability to actively coach a team
- Focused on problem solving and solution
