About the role
As a Technology Partnerships Manager, you will drive Bold's growth within the Shopify ecosystem by building and strengthening relationships with technology partners and Shopify app developers. Your focus will be on marketing Bold's integrations, positioning them as essential solutions, and driving adoption with compelling value messaging. You’ll also play a key role in demonstrating the business impact of integrations with Bold while facilitating high-value introductions to the Sales team.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Bold’s growth within the Shopify ecosystem by expanding strategic partnerships with technology providers, Shopify app developers, and solution partners.
- Promote and market Bold’s integrations, ensuring partners see how they enhance their offerings, drive revenue, and create mutual success.
- Identify, engage, and attract new technology partners through industry events, strategic outreach, and leveraging Bold’s brand.
- Craft and communicate compelling messaging around the strategic value of Bold’s integrations, positioning it as the ideal partner for growth.
- Act as a connector between partners and Sales, ensuring seamless collaboration to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new technology partners, supporting onboarding and long-term success.
- Manage the full partnership lifecycle, from initial engagement and contract negotiations to relationship management and strategic alignment.
- Educate partners on new product capabilities, API enhancements, and monetization opportunities, reinforcing Bold’s value proposition.
- Identify and qualify joint sales opportunities with partners to directly impact revenue growth.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience in technology partnerships, business development, or partner sales within the Shopify ecosystem, with a proven track record of driving adoption and revenue growth.
- Deep knowledge of Shopify’s technology landscape, including key apps, APIs, headless commerce, Hydrogen, and Shopify Plus.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, including the ability to interpret API documentation, troubleshoot basic integration issues, and effectively communicate technical requirements.
- Familiarity with Shopify technology partners, such as payment providers and subscription platforms (e.g., Recharge, OrderGroove, Stay.Ai, Skio).
- Strong technical acumen, with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technology to maximize the value of API-based integrations.
- Proven ability to market and advocate for technology solutions, driving adoption through compelling messaging.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, with experience engaging stakeholders from technical teams to executive leadership.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, balancing multiple initiatives with a results-driven focus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to clearly articulate Bold’s value proposition.
- Experience leading a partnerships team is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet partners and attend industry events.
