At BioRender, we’re on a mission to accelerate the world’s ability to learn, discover, and communicate science — transforming how knowledge is shared and making science open, collaborative, and easily understandable by all.
We’re shaping the future of science communication and are looking for talented individuals to help bring this vision to life! 🚀
About the Role
As the Communications Manager at BioRender, you’ll lead our efforts to share BioRender’s story with the world — amplifying our mission, product, and community impact across multiple channels. You’ll work closely with company leadership, marketing, and product teams to craft compelling narratives, strengthen our brand voice, and elevate BioRender’s position as the global leader in scientific communication.
This role is a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution — perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, science, and technology.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Manage our social media accounts and presence.
  • Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy that supports BioRender’s business goals, product launches, and brand awareness.
  • Oversee media relations and press strategy — from crafting pitches to managing relationships with journalists and thought leaders in science, tech, and education.
  • Partner with executives to refine messaging and provide communications support for speaking opportunities, thought leadership, and company announcements.
  • Manage crisis communications and ensure consistent brand voice across all channels, both internal and external.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and People teams to ensure alignment and storytelling consistency.
  • Track communications metrics, media coverage, and brand sentiment to inform future strategies and continuously improve outcomes.
What You Bring to the Table
  • 5+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or corporate storytelling — ideally within SaaS, tech, or science-focused industries.
  • Strong track record of building and executing successful communications strategies that drive measurable impact.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills — you know how to distill complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives.
  • Comfortable working with executives and serving as a trusted communications advisor and media spokesperson.
  • Experience managing agencies or cross-functional partners to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • A growth mindset — you’re adaptable, curious, and excited to build something impactful in a fast-growing company.
  • Familiarity or experience in science reporting, scientific communications, and translating scientific concepts for broad audiences is a big plus.
