At BioRender, our mission is to accelerate the world’s ability to learn, discover, and communicate science. We are passionate about democratizing science communication in order to accelerate scientific discovery and understanding. We're looking for amazing people to help create the world’s go-to-place where science is communicated. Come join us!
You can think of BioRender as the “Figma or Canva for scientists,” with a suite of web-based graphics communication products that empower scientists to create beautiful scientific visuals and presentations with ease.
As a Product Analyst on the Data team at BioRender, you'll play a key role in shaping how we use data to build an exceptional product experience. You’ll be embedded with our Product, Engineering, and Design team to uncover insights, guide decision-making, and push the boundaries of self-serve and experiment-led development. This is an exciting opportunity to drive roadmap impact while solving challenging analytical problems at the intersection of science and software.
What you'll be doing
  • Drive experimentation and deep product analytics to guide the roadmap and improve user behaviors
  • Define and refine core metrics, including nuanced definitions like “power users”, by combining behavioral and content data
  • Develop dashboards, schemas, and tools that empower self-serve analytics, while enabling strategic, high-quality analysis
  • Be a thought partner to PMs and designers: framing questions, surfacing hypotheses, and shaping product bets
  • Proactively surface insights from usage data to influence prioritization, features, and go-to-market strategy
  • Design and advise on statistically sound product releases that balance speed with confidence and business value
What you bring to the table
  • Outcome orientation: You tie your work to business value, and influence roadmap priorities
  • Strategic prioritization: You can juggle deep dives, ad hoc requests, and roadmap work while staying focused on impact
  • Experimental rigor: you design clean tests, understand tradeoffs, and focus on actionable lift over theoretical purity
  • Curiosity & first-principles thinking: you ask “why” beyond the data and loop new insights back into the product process
  • Product partnership: you’re a true thought partner to PMs and designers and bring user empathy into your analysis
  • Tooling & automation mindset: you automate recurring work and are comfortable stitching together tools like SQL, dbt, Python/R, and AI-based tools
Why join us?
  • We are mission-driven: we work collaboratively towards our shared vision of improving scientific communication and accelerating scientific discovery. BioRender figures have appeared in more than 54,000 publications!
  • BioRender is loved by millions! We have a world-class NPS and a community of loyal fans and users in 200+ countries!
