Overall Role Mandate:
What We Are Looking For:
To ensure the accurate and complete recording and payment of carrier revenue transactions.
Your role will encompass the following:
- Reconciling subscriber information between Fleet Complete and our channel partners
- Creating an automated and scalable reconciliation process
- Identifying additional billing opportunities and process improvements
- Updating/reconciling monthly internal subscriber reports
- Reporting and following escalation procedures on various internal and external stakeholders including members of the executive team
- Calculating and posting accounting entries including accruals, Deferred COGS, invoices
- Posting sales orders
- Ad hoc reconciliation and other excel related finance projects
We would love you to have the following:
- University Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, finance or a related field
- 3+ years of accounting or finance experience – technology/software industry is an asset
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel with an emphasis on proficiency with lookups and pivots
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft accounting software is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders including leadership
- History of balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the company while meeting deadlines
- Effective managerial skills to facilitate, implement, and manage change and process enhancement
- Ability to work autonomously with little supervision
- Ability to use critical thinking to analyze issues
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Comfortable communicating horizontally and vertically within the organization and to external partners
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where managing change is a key success factor
