In this role, you will be required to analyze data security within computer systems, develop and implement repairs, modifications, and upgrades, and diagnose and resolve system errors or technical issues.Responsibilities:• Provide system technical consultation and support for the software testing team.• Provide system technical consultation and support to the Sales team.• Assist the R&D team to develop data-centric data self-protection solutions.• Troubleshoot technical issues of Windows/Linux system compatibilities for BicDroid data security products.• Develop/maintain software installation packages for Windows/Linux Apps.• Develop/maintain tools using script languages for auto data extraction from embedded systems.• Develop and manage a portfolio of data security penetration and defense experiments/demonstrations around BicDroid products.• Develop and conduct penetration testing for BicDroid software on Windows/Linux.• Develop and design safety solutions to protect BicDroid data security products in a malicious environment.• Train the engineering team on new systems, protocols, and best practices.• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in technology, protocols, and best practices.Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a similar field. Master’s degree may be preferred.• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a systems engineer.• Familiarity with operating systems, such as Linux and UNIX.• Experience with database management software (MySQL, Oracle RDBMS, Microsoft SQL Server).• Excellent scripting skills (Perl, Ruby, Python).• Good knowledge of networking protocols (TCP, IP, OSI models).• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.• Experience in security auditing and/or forensics analysis is an asset.Education and Experience: Bachelor/Masters of computer science or electrical and computer engineering, etc.Benefits: Employer RRSP contribution matching; Extended health benefit plan (after 3 month probation period).Job Type: Full-timeHow to Apply: Please send your resume and cover letter to careers_ca@bicdroid.com.
