Meet Benevity

Benevity is the way the world does good, providing companies (and their employees) with technology to take social action on the issues they care about. Through giving, volunteering, grantmaking, employee resource groups and micro-actions, we help most of the Fortune 100 brands build better cultures and use their power for good. We’re also one of the first B Corporations in Canada, meaning we’re as committed to purpose as we are to profits. We have people working all over the world, including Canada, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States and more!

Benevity is hiring an Implementation Consultant to join our Client Projects team and lead the rollout of our products and solutions that help bring our clients’ social impact programs to life. You’ll manage both large and small-scale implementations, working closely with Relationship Managers, Project Managers, and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered smoothly and on time.

We’re looking for someone who is technically savvy, highly organized, and a clear communicator—able to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. You’ll guide clients through each phase of implementation, focusing on program goals, configuration, documentation, and communication. If you’re passionate about social good, thrive in fast-paced environments, and bring a collaborative, inclusive approach to your work, we’d love to connect.

What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of medium to large-scale implementation projects for new and existing Benevity clients
  • Lead discovery and requirements-gathering sessions; maintain clear and thorough design documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct gap analyses of client systems and programs to identify challenges and recommend solutions for a seamless transition to Benevity
  • Develop solution analyses and configuration plans aligned with client needs and project scope, delivering high-quality, value-added service
  • Configure Benevity applications based on defined business requirements and processes.
  • Facilitate executive stakeholder meetings, both internally and with clients
  • Advise clients on effective change management strategies to support successful adoption
  • Share client and industry insights with Product, Development, Client Success, and Sales teams
  • Partner with Project Managers to communicate project plans, milestones, and responsibilities to clients
  • Co-develop transition documentation to support end users and Relationship Managers post-implementation
  • Deliver engaging training sessions to client administrators and end users via webinars, phone, or in-person
  • Help create, update, and maintain client-facing resources such as presentations and guides
  • Identify potential growth and upsell opportunities for Relationship Management and Sales teams
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Benevity’s products and services to serve as a trusted advisor
  • Contribute to team success through continuous improvement initiatives and peer support
  • Assist in estimating project costs for proposals, statements of work, and change orders
  • Ensure a positive client experience at go-live and during post-onboarding support

What you bring

  • 2-5 years of experience in a Software Implementation Specialist or Consultant role
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Experience in creating workflow diagrams using Visio, Lucid chart, etc.
  • Working knowledge or experience with internal collaboration tools such as Jira or Confluence, etc.
  • Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with clients, at operational and leadership levels
  • Experience leading and working with cross-functional and/or remote teams to achieve common goals and client outcomes
  • Track record in building successful implementation documentation and/or project plans autonomously
  • Passion for Client Success
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Project Management certification/degree and/or Implementation Specialist certificate and/or Change Management certificate
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of time
  • Bilingual French/English proficiency at a fluent, C-level capacity is a bonus
