Benevity is excited to welcome an intern to our innovative Nonprofit Relations team in Barcelona! This hands-on internship offers professional experience and the chance to learn from experts. You'll receive comprehensive training and contribute to creating exceptional experiences for our users, companies, and nonprofits. Working closely with the team, you'll support all stages of nonprofit engagement, including sourcing nonprofits, identifying volunteering needs, building relationships, creating content, connecting volunteers, sharing reports on Benevity’s network, and curating crisis support kits.
What you'll do:
Among other tasks you could be involved in the following activities:
- Generate and contact leads through email, cold calls, and social networks
- Gather information about nonprofit needs and assist Nonprofit Representatives in shaping the best Benevity solutions
- Connect companies and employees with nonprofit organizations
- Manage content creation, editing, publishing, and translations
- Support and coordinate field and virtual volunteering events and goods collections
- Find creative ways to boost platform engagement
- Curate content for crisis response and awareness dates like International Women’s Day, and create custom lists for clients to support relevant causes
- Support client programs and internal stakeholders with reports on Benevity’s nonprofit network and projects
- Create custom documentation and presentations as needed
- Provide product support
- Gather user feedback to improve our services
- Brainstorm new solutions with the team
- Participate in projects and event initiatives
What you'll bring:
- Passionate about exploring, challenging yourself, and building relationships by presenting services/products
- Native German speaker, fluent in English, with optional proficiency in French, Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese
- Methodical and organized approach with keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrates a great spirit of initiative and goes the extra mile
- Holds or is pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field (learning agreement from university required if a student)
- Strong desire to learn and grow with a passion for working with people
- Empathetic, good listener, and great advisor while maintaining a strong company and business vision
