Benevity is seeking a passionate and experienced Manager, Order to Cash to join our collaborative finance team. In this vital role, you will lead the optimization of our end-to-end order to cash process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. We're looking for someone with a deep understanding of the revenue cycle in SaaS businesses, particularly the connection between bookings, billings, revenue, and cash flow. What you’ll do:

  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance our order to cash process to improve efficiency and enhance the overall customer experience
  • Billing and Invoicing: Ensure accurate and timely invoice generation and resolve billing discrepancies promptly
  • Revenue Accounting and Recognition: Ensure accurate recording of revenue transactions and compliance with industry standards and GAAP regulations
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze revenue trends and performance metrics to provide insights into our financial health and performance. This may involve preparing financial reports, forecasts, and budget analysis related to revenue, income, cash flows and the balance sheet
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, customer success, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of orders through to cash collection
  • Systems Integration: Partner with IT and finance teams to optimize and integrate our order management, billing, and revenue recognition systems
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of our order to cash process, implementing corrective actions as needed to drive performance improvements
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards related to order processing, billing, and revenue recognition
  • Customer Satisfaction: Champion a customer-centric approach to order management and billing, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and resolving disputes promptly
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls related to revenue recognition and billing processes to prevent fraud and errors
  • Audit Support: Provide support during financial audits by preparing documentation and ensuring effective audit procedures related to revenue

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in order to cash operations within a SaaS or technology company, with at least 2 years in team leadership
  • Strong understanding of order management, billing, and accounts receivable processes, including familiarity with billing systems and revenue recognition principles (e.g., ASC 606)
  • Experience with Netsuite’s ARM module is an asset
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Sound judgment and integrity, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting a culture of integrity and compliance
