Working in concert with the Client Marketing team, you’ll collaborate on projects to drive client expansion, advocacy, and product adoption to bring forth a cohesive community experience that contributes to company-wide revenue goals. You’ll also collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Client Success and wider Marketing teams to support events, product and feature launches, advocacy programs, and more. You’ll ensure community feedback and input is shared internally and community feedback loops are closed.

To join our growing team, we’re currently looking for a Community Program Manager based in Vancouver, Calgary or Toronto. We are also welcoming candidates located throughout the US.

Please note that this role is a part-time (20 hours per week), 18-month temporary position.

What you’ll do:

  • Strategy development: Working in collaboration with the Director, Client Marketing, supports the execution of the vision of Benevity’s client community, including programs that facilitate meaningful connection, best practice sharing and delivers value to our clients
  • Community growth: Scale the growth and engagement of the community globally, developing strategies to attract current and new users to the Benevity community
  • Program execution: Own and execute an impactful annual Community plan which supports client loyalty, advocacy and success while driving adoption across specific verticals and industries
  • Cross-functional collaboration: liaise and work collaboratively with the wider Marketing, Client Success and Product teams to identify opportunities to engage clients and the community
  • KPI ownership: Monitor KPIs, and success metrics to assess the effectiveness of community initiatives Monitor community health and recommend relevant interventions as needed to ensure we reach our goals
  • Internal engagement: Evangelize the community internally, working to increase internal adoption and raise overall visibility and engagement across Benevity’s employee base
  • Advocacy program support: partner with team mates in the Client Marketing team to support the advocacy strategy, integrating the community as a key pillar
  • Vendor management: oversee the technical operations of the community program, including the community platform and tools used by the Client Marketing team.

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years experience in community management, customer advocacy or related roles, preferably in the tech industries interacting with B2B audiences
  • Experience building and executing scalable and engaging online client community programs
  • Passion for client success: thrive in amplifying the customer voice and telling customer success stories in an engaging way
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effectively articulating ideas to executives, peers, and cross-functional teams and confident public speaking abilities
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and execute community strategies that align with company goals
  • Organizational Skills: Strong planning and project management skills, capable of coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, while working independently with reliability.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with different teams, embracing Benevity’s passionate culture and values
  • Experience managing integrated campaigns, customer advisory programs or coordinating events is a plus
  • Hands-on experience in Mighty Networks, Marketo, Salesforce and Asana is an asset
