- Lead complex scientific projects, conducting research, generating scientific strategies and reports, setting timelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights for industry stakeholders.
- Leverage subject matter expertise in preclinical drug development to collaborate with scientists across a variety of therapeutic areasand timely delivery of impactful results aligned with customer needs.
- Utilize data analytics tools to extract insights from large datasets, identifying opportunities to enhance data depth, breadth, and accuracy.
- Proactively contribute to data enrichment by sourcing and evaluating relevant scientific literature, ensuring the accuracy and depth of our platform's data.
- Participate in customer-facing meetings to support various customer projects, leveraging your scientific expertise to develop strategies that showcase the capabilities of BenchSci’s platform.
- Collaborate with Go-to-Market and Product teams to understand customer needs and integrate feedback to enhance the platform.
- Keep up to date with the latest biomedical research, applying your knowledge to guide technology development and ensure our platform remains at the cutting edge.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You Have:
- PhD in biology, bioinformatics, life sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- 2+ years of drug development experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.
- Prior experience working on translational, human-focused research within Cardiometabolic Disease, Respiratory Disease or Neuro-immunology is preferred, but the candidate should be comfortable solving complex scientific problems across various therapeutic areas.
- Experience with analyzing large datasets, with the ability to use SQL, Python, and/or R preferred.
- Proven ability toindependently drive projects to completion and develop data-driven solutions for complex problems.
- Natural curiosity coupled with a high level of organization, time management, project management, and attention to detail.
- Highly collaborative team member with exceptional communication skills, adept at conveying complex scientific insights clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including experts and non-specialized stakeholders.
