We are seeking an experienced, ambitious, and entrepreneurial leader to join our Venture Markets team, establishing our presence in France and driving growth in this key market. This pivotal role will be responsible for executing our go-to-market (GTM) strategy in France, engaging with customers to win business, expanding our existing customer base and supporting marketing initiatives to build the communications community and drive brand recognition.

As Staffbase’s inaugural representative in France, the Country Head will play a crucial role in building our brand as the leading employee communications company, driving revenue growth, building true customer relationships and establishing a robust partner ecosystem. Reporting directly to the General Manager Venture Markets and collaborating closely with central teams—including Marketing, Commercial Operations and Enablement—this role will shape the foundation for Staffbase's success in the region and set us up for hyper growth. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of Staffbase's expansion in France and make a lasting impact in the market.

This role is Greater Paris area based; with the perspective of working in a co-working environment as the team develops.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Go-to-Market strategy for the French marketOwn revenue and growth targets for the French market, monitor key prospects, customer and partner performance metrics and report progress
  • Rigorously focus on customer centricity to delight and further grow our existing customer base
  • Represent Staffbase at local events, industry conferences, and meetings with key stakeholders, driving brand awareness as the leading employee communications company and act as a regional thought leader to further build our category in the market
  • Serve our partners eco-system, establishing and cultivating strong and connected relationships for long-standing and trusted success
  • Work closely with Venture Markets leadership and central functional leaders to build out a local team and align France’s operations with overall business goals
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape and growth opportunities to provide insights to Staffbase leadership and drive strategic decisions
  • Build, coach and constantly develop a high performing team of sales enthusiasts, customer evangelists and marketing champions

What You Need to Be Successful

  • 10+ years of experience in global enterprise software and/or technology companies (Start Up experience is preferred)
  • A startup mindset with the enthusiasm and drive to wear multiple hats and solve challenges creatively
  • A deep-seated instinct for the balancing act between strategic mindset, strong business acumen and the ability and willingness to roll up your own sleeves.
  • Deep understanding of the French enterprise software and/or technology landscape
  • Strong network in the French enterprise software and/or technology business community
  • Proven leadership experience in sales, business development or partnership roles in the French market - ideally, ramping up a B2B software and/or technology business or branch
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing partner ecosystems, Direct Enterprise sales and proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, a high level of empathy and the ability to build strong business relationships
  • Understanding of French culture, and local regulatory environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international and dynamic environment, be resilient and adapt to changing business priorities
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related (MBA is a plus)
