Empowering Growth. Inspiring Development. Making an Impact.

At Staffbase, we believe that learning never stops—and we’re looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to take the lead in shaping how our employees grow and thrive. In this role, you’ll have full ownership of our Employee Growth Program, driving initiatives that support continuous development, meaningful career progression, and a culture of learning.

You’ll manage our Growth Cycle process (including goal setting, growth talks, and end-of-year reviews), champion our Growth Budget, and most importantly, design and deliver impactful learning and development programs. This is a role where creativity, innovation, and ownership are key—you’ll have the freedom to shape and execute initiatives from start to finish.

What you’ll be doing

  • Owning the Employee Growth Program – Manage the Growth Cycle, ensure employees and managers have the tools to succeed, and drive engagement with development opportunities.
  • Designing & Delivering Learning Programs – Develop training that supports both individual and organizational growth, using modern learning methodologies.
  • Advocating for the Growth Budget – Encourage employees to invest in their learning, making professional development a core part of our culture.
  • Facilitating Meaningful Conversations – Support managers and employees in goal-setting, feedback discussions, and career progression.
  • Measuring & Iterating – Assess the impact of learning initiatives and continuously refine them based on data-driven insights.

What you need to be successful

  • Strong understanding of instructional design, adult learning theory, and training facilitation.
  • Experience designing and implementing learning and development programs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills—you can engage and inspire learners at all levels.
  • A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving, with a passion for innovation.
  • The ability to take ownership, manage projects end-to-end, and drive results.
  • Comfort working with data to measure learning effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • A collaborative mindset—open to feedback, eager to share ideas, and always ready to help the team succeed.

What you'll get

  • Competitive Compensation - we offer attractive salary packages including an Employee Stock Option Plan.
  • Flexibility - we offer flexible working time models and the option of hybrid work, and support this with a yearly flex work allowance of €1560.
  • Growth Budget - all employees get a yearly budget for external training of €1000, and one day off for growth per year (increase to two days in 2nd year).
  • Wellbeing - in addition to our yearly vacation of 30 days, we’re running a 4-day-work week every year in August with full payment.
  • Support - we’re offering a company pension scheme.
  • Sports & Health - join our sport courses in the offices or lease a bike with Staffbase. The offices are equipped with fruits, drinks and snacks.
  • Team Building - Regular team and office events including the yearly Staffbase Camp.
  • Volunteers Day - you’ll get one day off per year for supporting a social project. We will donate a small amount for that project in addition.
  • Employee Referral Program - one of your friends is a fit to one of our full-time openings? Refer them and get a referral bonus paid.
