Working closely with the VP of Marketing, you will play a critical role in shaping the results of the Marketing and Sales Development (SDR) teams, ensuring that we are operating at peak efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have experience with Marketing & SDR data, process, and technology.

This role is hybrid; work from home and from our office in NYC as required.

What you’ll be doing

Work closely with Marketing/SDR Leadership to drive more quality MQAs, Demo/Pricing Requests and pipeline; helping to optimize the marketing-generated pipeline.

  • Support Marketing/SDR process, including review of pipeline performance and SDR activities (e.g. follow-up on MQAs and Demo/Pricing Requests).
  • Maintain tracking of MQA performance, deeply understand funnel health, including demo/pricing request and MQA qualification and disqualification reasons; provide insights and suggested process optimizations to RevOps and GTM Leadership (VP of Marketing, NA & VP of Sales, NA, SDR Leader).
  • Be responsive to market conditions that would drive how we would go-to-market with tailored sales plays, such as upcoming regulatory changes, competitive takeouts, etc.
  • Partner with Performance Marketing to understand top-of-funnel performance, including demo/pricing request and MQA volume and conversion rates; provide recommendations to optimize efficiencies.
  • Create value-driven, compelling email copy to support SDR sequences, and OTS Sales/CS enablement for key revenue-generating programs and initiatives.
  • Regular monitoring of the success of email nurture sequences and OTS, and provide recommendations for optimizations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that outreach sequences are cutting edge.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to create playbooks to support follow-up and outreach for major events.
  • Curate and drive the Sales/CS Weekly Newsletter, ensuring pull through of relevant information for Sales & Customer Success, e.g. field events and associated goals, sales trainings, press coverage, etc.
  • Monitor performance of the Sales/CS Weekly Newsletter, providing performance insights and recommendations to Marketing and GTM Leadership to drive up adoption and readership.
  • Maintain Highspot with relevant campaign information, ensuring regular upkeep and hygiene.
  • As required, create enablement materials to support the education of the SDR Team on Marketing concepts, campaigns, and processes.
  • Regularly review reporting and dashboards to provide visibility into business performance, and analytics.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to improve our reporting and processes and provide insights to the Marketing and Sales teams.

What you need to be successful

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing and/or SDR functions in a SaaS/technology environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful Marketing/SDR operations strategies.
  • Passionate about working with a talented and energizing group of Marketing/SDR and Rev Ops professionals.
  • Proactive approach to identifying areas of opportunities to gain efficiencies.
  • Hands on experience with reporting, analyzing and optimizing outbound email sequences and top-of-funnel performance.
  • Expertise in Looker Studio, Hubspot, Gong, Outreach, 6Sense, Salesforce, and HighSpot.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across various departments in a business.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in New York City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Staffbase's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 base salary per year. Other rewards may include commissions and program-specific awards. In addition, Staffbase provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, equity, paid parental leave, an employee growth budget, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, wellness days, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
