- Lead the annual L&D strategy to address specific business needs through COE OKRs.
- Manage the L&D annual budget
- Facilitate opportunities to promote and drive employees to leverage existing learning infrastructure to enable a culture of continuous learning
- Maintain an awareness of emerging trends and best practices in Learning and Development by creatively assessing and sharing opportunities to build new programs or drive continuous improvement.
- Lead the full cycle of training and learning projects, from conception and planning to implementation and evaluation, ensuring timely delivery and effective outcomes
- Responsible for the ongoing operationalization of Functional Skills by designing and evolving learning curriculum and overseeing the creation of required assets
- Design and lead the annual Leader Summit as part of the Axonify Level Up Program
- Manage the Peer to Peer Coaching Program and Buddy Program
- Own the strategy of the DiSC program and fulfill Lead Facilitation responsibilities
- Own the execution and ongoing evolution of all L&D Programs including onboarding, Axonify Level Up (Leadership program), Individual Contributor program
- Maintain ongoing program alignment with business needs, and overall Mission, Vision, and Values
- Own all Program Learning Paths
- Regular lead facilitation duties in person from the Toronto and Waterloo Offices and virtual
- Own the overall design, manage content and oversee the delivery of Programs through Axonify’s internal training platform with reinforcement training, articles and workshops
- Oversee the strategic direction for instructional design and delivery of internal L&D programs to maximize the platform’s key capabilities and drive employee growth and skill enhancement
- Support and contribute to training content research, design and development
- Design Facilitation GuidesOwn the SOPs for L&D asset creation
- Manage all L&D intake requests and develop custom learning programs
- Champion cross functional internal L&D Stakeholder relationships
- Partner with the People & Culture Business Partners to understand the learning needs of the organization, teams, and individuals and recommend learning solutions, and co-create the design & development
- Work closely with Department specific stakeholders to intake training and development requests and develop custom learning programs
- Advise cross-functionally on L&D practices and insights
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of L&D initiatives through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, and continuously refine programs based on insights
- Design and maintain L&D metrics dashboard
- Conduct learning needs analysis when required that identify functional and organization wide Learning & Development needs and build a plan to address
- Provide quarterly insight reports with Executive Summary
- Support the annual company kickoff business event
- Provide internal Learning and Development mentorship
- Actively participate in the execution of wider Employee Experience Programs
- Additional P&C support as needed
What you'll bring:
- 8+ years experience in a learning & development role
- 3+ years experience in people management and leading a team
- Knowledge of adult learning methods
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills, skilled at project and change management with cross-functional collaboration
- Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end project lifecycle of an organization-wide learning program
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coach others
- Proficiency with Vyond and Articulate Rise is an asset
- Experience designing, developing, implementing, and facilitating learning sessions using a variety of in-person, virtual and hybrid platforms to engage the learning audience at all levels of the organization
- Experience leveraging a variety of resources, knowledge and information to assess learning needs and develop sessions through a high level of judgment, integrity and a sense of urgency
- Exceptional verbal articulation to facilitate learning sessions
- A variety of business experiences that offers knowledge, coaching and guidance on facilitated learning topics
- A passion and desire for maintaining a business culture of learning
