We’re looking for a visionary and dynamic Senior Director, Product Marketing to steer our marketing initiatives and propel the growth of our product suite. In this pivotal role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive product marketing strategy aimed at increasing market share and positioning Axonify as a global leader in the marketplace.
As a key member of the Marketing team, reporting to the Vice President, Marketing this role will lead our market research initiatives, utilizing the insights gained to drive our product development efforts. You'll act as a vital bridge between our marketing, sales, and product teams, ensuring our customers' voice permeates throughout the entire product lifecycle. You will own the messaging and positioning of our go-to-market strategy as it pertains to vertical markets, segments, and partnerships.

The things you’ll do:

  • Strategic Leadership: Direct the development and implementation of the product marketing strategy, fostering innovative approaches and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Team Development: Build a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive team, creating an environment that encourages collaboration, growth, and success.
  • Market Intelligence and Customer Insights: Leverage customer win/loss interviews, competitive analysis, and vertical analysis to gain in-depth knowledge of the market, identifying new routes and opportunities for growth.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop compelling narratives for our target audience, effectively conveying the unique value proposition of our products.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead the creation and execution of robust GTM strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands.
  • Content Development: Equip our business development and account-based marketing teams with relevant content and resources to engage and convert target buyers across the sales journey.
  • Product Release: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to flawlessly launch new products in the market, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Global Market Expansion: Devise global growth strategies, understanding the importance of localization and cultural nuances. And of course, other duties to support Axonify and further build your skills

The things you bring:

  • Professional Experience. A minimum of 10 years of software marketing experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within a SaaS organization. Proven experience across the marketing mix, including market/competitive assessment, content development, digital marketing/demand generation, marketing/sales collateral development, etc.
  • Knowledge. Comprehensive understanding of the product development lifecycle, GTM process, and Pragmatic Marketing principles.
  • Commitment to quality. Expertise in understanding the B2B sales and marketing funnel and the purchasing dynamics within businesses.
  • Strategic. Strategic thinker with the ability to tactically implement and drive results.
  • Rockstar presentation skills. Comfortable presenting to large audiences and directly to the C-suite, with exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Performance. Adaptable, resourceful, and results-oriented, with the ability to manage shifting priorities and multiple demands in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
