Awake Labs is improving care for people with cognitive disabilities whose mental health challenges are often misunderstood. The platform consists of three components: a smartwatch app to measure stress and strong emotions in real-time, a mobile app to notify caregivers, and a clinical dashboard to review data and personalize care plans. Our platform has shown to reduce incidents of self-injury, staff injury, and hospitalizations. This also reduces caregiver burnout and increases independence for the person being supported.
