Avidbots is a robotics company seeking a full-time data analyst to work across our internal teams to help us understand and find key variables and patterns to overcome the problems in our day-to-day operations. This will include collecting data from a variety of sites using tools such as Command Center (Internal web platform), Google Sheets, and Periscope, among others. This role will be a key player in maintaining and understanding our data & making data-driven business decisions and will report to the Quality Assurance and Information Manager with a dotted line to the Colombia Regional Manager.

Responsibilities

• Support users of the Business Intelligence platform (dashboard creation and reporting using SQL).
• Collaborate the data analysis perspective with the different teams across the organization to collect, clean, and analyze data that will be used for business decision-making and overall customer satisfaction improvement.
• Gather data, process it, and display it in an easy-to-understand fashion.
• Identifying patterns of behaviour, grouping cases, and identifying and tracking trends.
• Use the data analytics to help our team understand our customer's robot usage experience.
• Present the results of your findings in writing, verbal, and dashboards directly to both our staff and our clients.

Key Skills and Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a data analyst/engineer, or equivalent.
• B.Sc. or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Software engineering, or equivalent.
• Expertise in SQL and relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL/Redshift or similar)
• Experience with Python, Version control systems (Git), Excel functions, and Pivot tables.
• Experience with applications/scripts/APIs to analyze database data.
• Excellent Team-working skills.
• Excellent fluency and written skills in English.
• Availability to work in EST and Pacific time zones.

Nice to have (Anything here is a plus)

• Experience with Sisense for Cloud Data Teams (Periscope)
• Experience with AWS or Azure data solutions
• Understanding of ROS concepts, localization, and Robotics in general.
• Agile Methodologies
• Front end UI
• Object Oriented Programming
• Experience with Node.js
• Basic skills with Linux-based operating systems (bash scripting, command line, etc)
