What’s this role about?

As a Marketing Operations Specialist, you will take on many administrator duties for Auvik’s core marketing systems. Working closely with key marketing stakeholders, you will draw on your experience during campaign planning to provide tactical guidance and to support rollout and implementation.You will leverage your analytical and data augmentation skills to report on the performance of active campaigns and help spot anomalies to drive ongoing optimization. Finally, you will be a key player in supporting AI initiatives across the Go To Market organization by gathering stakeholder requirements and supporting implementation efforts.

What will I be doing?

You will:

  • Building campaigns in Marketo - including automations, lists, email editing and field creation
  • Understanding the Marketing (and broader GTM) team’s needs around AI-enabled initiatives. Implementing new AI tools.
  • Lead uploads for webinars and tradeshows
  • Data enhancement and normalization for prospects
  • Working with the Sales Ops Team to ensure lead routing and post-upload activities are triggering
  • Collaborating with Marketers: presenting options and relevant tooling that help their vision come to life
  • Ensuring correct campaign data (UTMs) is coming through into Looker reports
  • Documenting recurring work, and finding ways to automate it
  • Analyzing performance of marketing campaigns and presenting findings

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is familiar with the world of digital marketing and likes working with the tech tools that underpin digital campaigns. You should be:

  • Comfortable with data manipulation (spreadsheets, CSV files, SQL and Salesforce.com skills are a bonus)
  • Familiar with marketing automation systems like Marketo (Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, Hubspot, Eloqua, Pardot)
  • Aware of AI / LLM capabilities and interested in applying them in real-world scenarios
  • Able to independently learn new systems
  • Familiar with / interested in basic Salesforce.com CRM duties
  • Someone with the following personality traits:
    Attentive: you notice when a small detail is “off” or missing
    Professional: you care about the quality of our work. Once you notice that something is not right, you inform others or investigate on your own to fix the root cause.
    Cross-functional: we help a variety of other teams with new projects - we rarely say “that’s not my job”. You’re comfortable with lending a hand with projects that are outside of the routine.

Are there bonus points?

  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • Experience with programming languages like Javascript and Python
  • Experience with glue systems like Zapier, SnapLogic, n8n or Workato
  • SQL knowledge or experience with Looker

Compensation Details:

At Auvik, our compensation philosophy is to be market competitive, reward performance, reflect our commitment to equity and maintain transparency with our employees. We have defined job levels and compensation ranges for each of our markets we employ, based on research from various sources of market data, which are reviewed on a regular basis.

The hiring range for this position is listed below. Compensation offered for candidates in this role is based on a number of factors including job-related skills, knowledge, and experience. These factors may cause your compensation to vary within the range outlined below.

In addition to cash compensation, all full-time employees are granted stock options to share in Auvik’s future successes. Auvik employees are eligible to participate in additional benefits and programs including our comprehensive health and dental benefits plan, Wellness spending account, GRSP matching program, flexible paid time off, paid parental leave program, and are eligible for remote working subsidies.

Salary Range:
$75,000$98,000 CAD
