What You’ll Be Doing:

DevOps Engineer focuses on creating solutions using tools and automation to improve operations. DevOps roles can involve a myriad a projects, including: enhancing and streamlining operational processes through automation and integration; modifying existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or to improve performance; analysing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints; performs new software releases and provides second tier support.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years experience in a DevOps/System admin role in a cloud environment
  • Must have experience with CI/CD Pipelines and hands on work experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Github and Docker.
  • Kubernetes / Terraform / Helm / Pulumi
  • Languages: PHP / Scala
  • GCP experience, including but not limited to VPC, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Load Balance, Kubernetes.
  • Solid knowledge of the Linux command-line and architecture.
  • Experience with management of MySQL server.
  • Experience with maintaining build pipelines for mobile applications (iOS, Android).
  • Administration, review, and recommendations for enterprise Security technologies including firewalls, routers, VPN devices, IDS sensors, Proxy servers, wireless technologies, and PKI.

Soft Skill Requirements:

  • Able to learn new skills and technology quickly
  • Be able to join a 24/7 on-call rotation (1 week out of the month)
  • Energetic with amazing customer service skills and a team-oriented approach
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Reviewing logs and providing recommendations for risk mitigation
  • Reviewing vulnerability and performance data and performing mitigations
  • Debugging of web applications
  • Document and follow SOP’s
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
