As the Director of Sales at Autocorp.ai, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. You’ll be a hands-on sales leader, leading a team of Account Executives, developing and executing strategic sales plans, and cultivating strong relationships with key dealership groups. Your leadership and expertise will directly impact our company's success and contribute to shaping the future of automotive retail.

  • Drive Revenue Growth: Significantly increase sales and market share by effectively leading and motivating a high-performing sales team.

  • Develop Sales Talent: Mentor and coach sales team members, fostering a culture of success and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Management:

    • Oversee and optimize the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure.

    • Regularly review sales forecasts, ensuring alignment with quarterly and annual revenue targets.

    • Analyze pipeline metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement strategies to improve conversion rates.

  • Sales Leadership:

    • Lead, train, and mentor the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.

    • Conduct regular team meetings, sales coaching sessions, and performance reviews.

    • Develop and maintain a playbook for sales processes, objection handling, and deal-closing strategies.

  • Deal Closing:

    • Actively participate in high-priority or high-value sales opportunities, working alongside the team to close deals.

    • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and growth opportunities.

    • Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of Autocorp.ai’s products, effectively communicating value propositions to prospects.

  • Team Training and Development:

    • Develop and execute training programs to improve product knowledge, selling techniques, and negotiation skills across the team.

    • Utilize tools like CRM analytics, role-playing exercises, and shadowing to enhance team capabilities.

    • Stay current with industry trends and sales methodologies, integrating best practices into the team's workflow.

  • Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment:

    • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment on lead generation strategies and campaigns.

    • Partner with the customer success and product teams to provide feedback on customer needs and enhance product offerings.

    • Act as a bridge between executive leadership and the sales team, communicating goals, strategies, and progress effectively.

  • Reporting and Metrics:

    • Track, analyze, and report on key sales metrics, including pipeline velocity, win rates, and average deal size.

    • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on sales performance and progress toward goals.

    • Use data to make informed decisions and refine sales strategies.



Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the automotive or SaaS industry.

  • Deep understanding of dealership operations, challenges, and technology needs.

  • Experience with AI-powered solutions and their application in the automotive sector is a strong asset.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to travel within Canada to meet with clients and attend industry events.
