Hi there, we’re Article. 👋 Since 2013, we have been redefining the furniture industry one sofa at a time, it’s not easy - it requires solving challenging, meaningful problems. This is where you come in, we are looking for 3x Business Analysts to support the data needs of the business. The team operates as a centralized hub for Business Intelligence and Analytics (BIA).
These Data-focused BA roles are:
- Junior Business Analyst (Business Operations); this role will support the data needs of our retail-focused team. Prior experience supporting retail teams is highly preferable.
- Intermediate Business Analyst (Business Operations) - 15 Month Term Employment (Mat Leave Coverage); this role will support the data needs of our supply chain and logistics teams. Prior experience supporting these teams in this domain is highly preferable.
- Intermediate Business Analyst (Data Operations); this role is the intersection of data, experimentation, and AI-enabled decision-making. Prior experience designing data experiments is required to be considered.
What these jobs aren’t:
- Non-technical, traditional requirements and documentation gathering BA roles
- You won’t be writing user stories for technical people and managing a backlog
- You are not a Project coordinator in disguise; this isn't a role where your primary output is a meeting minute or a project timeline
Why We Need You:
Junior and Intermediate Business Analyst (Business Operations)
These roles partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business questions, translate them into analytics requests, and support the development of reporting solutions. The core of this role is to support the senior BA’s on the team and handle smaller requests from the business.
You are the bridge between business questions and business data- helping the team turn "I wonder why..." into clear reports and charts. You’ll be the "right hand" to the senior analysts, taking care of smaller tasks and keeping the engine running. Instead of the business having to guess and rely on “gut feelings,” you will help provide the facts based on centralized data and insights.
KPIs tracked by Business Operations:
- Accuracy and Reliability of Reporting
- Timely Delivery of Dashboards and Analysis
- Stakeholder Satisfaction (CSAT)
- Contribution to Team Analytics Deliverables
- Development of Core Analytics and Business Skills
Intermediate Business Analyst (Data Operations)
They are responsible for turning complex, sometimes ambiguous data into clear insights that drive measurable business outcomes, and for building the analytical infrastructure that makes those insights scalable and repeatable. This includes designing rigorous experiments, deploying and governing AI tools, and partnering closely with internal teams to ensure analysis translates into action.
KPIs tracked by Data Operations:
- Quality and reliability of AI agent outputs (i.e., Genies in Databricks) and guardrail effectiveness
- Experiment design rigor and speed-to-insight on A/B and non-testable decisions
- Data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across analytical systems
- Stakeholder confidence in recommendations and analytical frameworks
- Contribution to team capability through documentation, SOPs, and knowledge sharing

What You’ll Do:
Junior + Intermediate Business Analyst (Business Operations)
- Support the delivery of analytics and reporting that inform business and customer decisions
- Translate business questions into clear data requests and reporting needs
- Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports
- Identify trends and patterns in operational and customer data
- Partner with senior analysts to investigate performance and recommend improvements
- Help improve data quality, document metrics, and reporting logic
- Share insights through dashboards, summaries, and stakeholder conversations
- Contribute to team workflows and continuously build your analytical skills
Intermediate Business Analyst (Data Operations)
- Design and run A/B and multivariate tests across eCommerce experiences
- Turn ambiguous business questions into structured experiments and analysis plans
- Deliver clear, actionable insights that explain what changed and what to do next
- Apply advanced methods when testing is not feasible (e.g., causal inference, holdouts)
- Build and maintain scalable data models and analytical frameworks
- Work with large datasets to produce reliable, reproducible analysis
- Develop and support AI-powered analytics tools and automated reporting
- Improve AI output quality through prompt design, guardrails, and monitoring
- Partner with teams to align insights with business decisions
- Document workflows, assumptions, and best practices to scale team knowledge
Who You Are:
- Junior BA (Business Ops) should have 1-2 years of professional experience (Retail Domain)
- Intermediate BA (Business Ops) should have 3-5 years of professional experience (Supply Chain/Logistics Domain)
- Intermediate BA (Data Ops) should have 3-5 years of professional experience (Strong experience in Experimentation)
- Legally able to work in Canada (up to FULL TIME HOURS year-round/ no Student VISA)
- Completion of a criminal background check
- Tech skills:
- Databricks, or similar
- Basic SQL Knowledge: You can write SQL queries without using an LLM
- AI literacy, you’ll be expected to go beyond prompting
- Basic coding, like scripting in Python, would be nice

- The intermediate salary range is $95,000 to $103,000
