Hi there, we’re Article. 👋 Since 2013, we’ve been redefining the furniture industry one sofa at a time, and in 2024, we opened our first retail showroom in East Vancouver. As a Home Expert Associate, you’ll be the face of Article, helping every customer feel welcomed, supported, and confident in their choices.

We're hiring a part-time Particle to join our in-store team at:
Address: 848 E Hastings St, Vancouver, BC
Hours: 24 hours a week (possibly more if available)


Availability:

Our store is open 7 days a week, 10am -6pm PST.

As a part-time employee, you must have a minimum availability of five days per week, including mandatory availability on 3 week days and both Saturday and Sunday. While you may be scheduled for just one weekend day, there may be instances where both Saturday and Sunday are required. Work schedules will be provided at least two weeks in advance, with specific start times varying within a specified range.

We require individuals with flexible availability. The shifts you will be assigned to will typically be between the following hours:

9am - 7pm PST.

What You'll Do:

As a Home Expert, you have a passion for helping customers create beautiful spaces in their homes. You are up to date on the latest trends and seek out ways to inspire and delight our customers. You have a proven ability to drive sales and deliver on KPI’s.
  • Welcome customers into the showroom and help them feel at home
  • Guide customers through our furniture selection and support online ordering
  • Solve customer questions and issues in person, on the phone, via email or chat
  • Stay informed about our products, tools, and policies to support customer confidence
  • Keep the showroom looking beautiful and organized throughout the day
  • Use internal systems to manage orders, support returns, and navigate logistics
  • Collaborate with teammates and contribute to a respectful, team-first environment
  • Participate in regular coaching and feedback with your General Manager
  • Flex to support peak periods on weekends and key retail dates

Who You Are:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Legally able to work in Canada with no hour-based restrictions (e.g. not eligible for student VISAs).
  • Able to complete a criminal background check.

Customer Experience:

  • You’re passionate about helping people and love solving problems
  • You bring retail experience, ideally in a considered-purchase environment, where customers take time to compare and decide
  • You build strong, genuine relationships that create long-term Article customers
