This is where you come in, as the Digital Merchandising Specialist, you'll own how our products show up online, from the way they’re presented visually to how they’re grouped, featured, and promoted. This fits into our larger need to increase engagement and conversion on our site, critical metrics as we scale and refine our digital presence to meet growing customer demand.
Within the first few months, you’ll have launched several high-impact merchandising campaigns, improved how products are displayed across our decor category, and started running regular A/B tests to optimize content. In a year, you’ll be proud to say you’ve elevated how we merchandise online, bringing more customers from “just browsing” to “add to cart.”

About the team:
We’re a hybrid team, in the office 3 days per week — the specific days are up to you. You’ll be joining a team of 9 Particles (8 team members plus our eCommerce Manager) who bring together creativity, strategy, and data smarts. We work closely together and with other teams across Article to make sure our digital experience is as thoughtful and compelling as our products.
We work together to continuously improve how customers experience Article online. Collaboration is a big part of our day-to-day, from brainstorming new merchandising launches to refining how content shows up across the site. We test, we tweak, and we learn quickly. It’s a creative, fast-moving environment where your ideas will be heard, tested, and celebrated.

What You’ll Do
- You’ll be part of our eCommerce team, helping shape how our products show up online so customers have a smooth and inspiring shopping experience.
- Own the layout and presentation of product detail and listing pages to reflect Article’s voice and appeal to our core customer.
- Curate and update featured product collections and seasonal campaigns based on trends and performance.
- Make decisions about how products are displayed in your categories — what goes where, what’s highlighted, and what gets promoted.
- Ensure high-quality visuals and descriptions that align with Article’s brand and resonate with our audience.
- Work closely with marketing, design, and digital teams to deliver consistent and impactful merchandising strategies.
- Use data and insights to understand what’s working and make changes that help customers find and buy what they love.
- Run A/B tests to learn how to improve product placement and storytelling for better engagement and conversion.
- Stay in the loop on industry trends and what our competitors are doing, and bring fresh ideas to the table.
Who You Are
- 3+ years in digital merchandising or eCommerce.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- You’re curious and solution-focused, you find ways around roadblocks and bring ideas to life.
- Familiarity with fashion, lifestyle, or premium eCommerce is a bonus.
- Digital merchandising certifications are nice to have.
- Comfortable using tools like BigCommerce, Contentful, Bloomreach, or Algolia.
- Strong analytical skills enable you to read performance dashboards effectively and take action based on the insights you gain.
- Analytics platforms such as GA4, Heap, or Contentsquare.
- G-Suite for everyday collaboration and project management.
- Legally able to work in Canada.
- Completion of a criminal background check.

- The salary range is $70,000 to $75,000. The starting salary will be determined by your transferable skills, knowledge, work experience, and the hiring team’s budget, which is based on business needs, market compensation data, and internal equity
