Our mission is simple: to end cyber risk. We’re seeking a Director, Sales to lead the Nordic region and help us achieve this.
Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, people-first Director of Sales who excels at building and leading hunter-focused sales teams. This role is ideal for a sales leader who thrives on driving net-new business, coaching prospecting excellence, and creating a culture of accountability, urgency, and results. The Director of Sales will lead a team of quota-carrying Account Executives responsible for acquiring new customers, opening new markets, and fuelling revenue growth. Success in this role requires a strong balance of inspirational leadership, disciplined execution, and a deep understanding of outbound sales motions, having responsibility for the Nordic region, this role can be based in either Denmark, Sweden or Norway.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, inspire, and develop a team of hunter-oriented Account Executives focused on net-new customer acquisition
- Instill a strong prospecting culture with clear expectations around outbound activity, pipeline creation, and territory execution
- Coach sales teams through call reviews, deal strategy, and opportunity qualification to improve win rates
- Drive consistent sales execution through pipeline management, forecasting, and weekly performance reviews
- Build and scale onboarding and training programs that emphasize outbound selling, discovery, and value-based selling
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to hire, develop, and retain top-performing sales talent
- Contribute to the creation and execution of sales and marketing strategies that expand market presence
- Maintain deep knowledge of AWN products, value propositions, and competitive positioning to support effective selling

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Prior experience leading quota-carrying sales teams with a focus on new business acquisition
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience and leadership experience
- Technology sales background with significant inside sales experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated success building and scaling hunter-led sales organizations
- Advanced experience with data-driven Salesforce management and opportunity methodologies
- Strong collaboration and team-building skills
- Experience in cloud technology, security, SaaS, or enterprise software strongly preferred
