Based out of HQ - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA (Hybrid role, 3 days a week in office)
About the Role
The Lead Business Systems Manager is a strategic technical and business leader who collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide architectural and development expertise across our revenue systems tech stack. This role is responsible for setting direction, driving discovery, and prioritizing the technical requirements and objectives of stakeholders.
The role is responsible for defining and translating the business vision into actionable strategies and solutions that drive key business outcomes. This role collaborates closely with stakeholders, executive leadership, development leaders, and both functional and technical teams to rapidly deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
This person will play a key role on the applications team as a visionary leader and partner working closely with the business and technical teams to ensure we deliver the highest value work to the organization
Leading a team of business system managers and developers on cross-functional complex project initiatives.
Collaborate with other Business Systems Managers and stakeholders to ensure work prioritization is aligned with priorities and overall Platform product roadmap
Design high level configuration changes and assist other team members in making the changes. Knowledge spans multiple systems and functional areas.
Providing technical guidance and support to business systems managers.
Assist in harmonizing business data integration flows and proposing new tool / processes to streamline the processes.
Partner with development teams to transform requirements into a technical solution that meets maintenance, data integrity and security standards.
Propose new solutions, and then facilitate a team to document, and implement new business processes and system changes that span multiple functional areas / systems.
Expert knowledge of end to end business functionality and systems that drive key business functions and develop solution roadmaps to meet both short-term and long-range business goals.
Collaborate cross-functionally to effectively elicit and document requirements while determining business value, project scope, and success metrics.
Provide industry best practice recommendations for business systems related process and configuration.
Lead evaluations, prepare recommendations, and implement technology solutions to achieve business objectives
Partner with external software vendors for new applications. Manage relationships with existing vendors.
Who You Are
Strong Technical Knowledge related to data, integrations, and business applications
Solid knowledge of Corporate Business Systems (ie. CRM, ERP, Gainsight, and Customer Success application (Gainsight)
Working knowledge of Business Operations practices (ie. Quote to Cash, Opportunity Management, Customer Lifecycle)
Strong desire to work both in design and on ‘hands-on’ supporting role with implementation resources in the delivery of technology solutions.
Strong stakeholder management experience.
Excellent analytical, abstract reasoning skills, and organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to work autonomously
Passion and understanding of new technology and trends.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills among all organizational levels; strong facilitation and executive communications skills
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years experience with Business Systems related to Revenue Systems Operations
Strong Project Management and Business Analysis background
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
