Remote role, however must be based in Sydney, Australia

About the Role

Reporting to the head of Corporate Marketing, the PR Director, Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), will be an integral part of Arctic Wolf’s APJ marketing team. You will make a difference by contributing to various communications initiatives that drive public, industry, and channel awareness of Arctic Wolf.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute external communications initiatives that drive awareness of Arctic Wolf across technology, business, and trade publications in the APJ market

  • Collaborate closely with the APJ sales, engineering, channel, and marketing teams to develop media and exposure opportunities related to business momentum, new product introductions, market recognition, etc.

  • Support executive communications for key APJ spokespeople with identifying strategic opportunities, developing content, and ensuring messaging alignment with Arctic Wolf’s corporate story

  • Establish media training programs to build and expand the bench of media SMEs for APJ

  • Work with Arctic Wolf’s PR agencies to proactively identify opportunities for local, national, and trade editorial placements

  • Draft press releases, blog posts, bylined articles in support of Arctic Wolf’s APJ PR objectives

  • Own Arctic Wolf’s awards and speaking submissions process for the region

  • Prepare executives and other spokespersons for media interviews and speaker engagements

  • Track validation metrics that demonstrate the impact of communications initiatives

Who You Are

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where new priorities can emerge on a daily basis

  • Deep understanding of security, business, and broadcast media

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years of public relations/corporate PR experience within a leading cybersecurity or technology organization
