About the Role:
The Director of Sales Engineering – Technology Specialists Group (TSG) will lead a global team of Principal Sales Engineers to drive the technical success of the Arctic Wolf endpoint security products. This role combines strategic leadership, operational oversight, and technical expertise to deliver impactful results. The Director will collaborate across sales, product, and engineering teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and inspiring team success.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Leadership and Team Development
- Recruit, develop, and lead a global team of Principal SEs, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
- Drive strategic alignment of technical resources with sales and business objectives to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Provide consistent guidance and mentorship to the team, ensuring their professional growth and technical acumen by focusing on skill enhancement.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate across Sales, Operations, Marketing, Product Management and R&D teams to ensure organizational agility while leading your team(s).
Customer Engagement and Escalation
- Act as an escalation point for critical technical engagements, stepping in to assist with complex troubleshooting, Proof of Concept (POC) engagements, and high-stakes demonstrations when necessary.
- Remain “customer-ready” by growing and retaining your own technical and sales acumen and being able to participate during all stages of the sales cycle.
- Oversee the development of technical assets, such as demo environments, POC practices, and enablement materials, ensuring high-quality resources for the team and customers.
Evangelism and Collaboration
- Engage in and help build and/or maintain prospect/partner technical and/or executive relationships which help accelerate Arctic Wolf brand awareness and business closure.
- Collaborate with Product Management to provide field-driven feedback that influences product direction and ensures alignment with customer needs.
- Participate in webinars, trade shows, and field marketing events to promote the endpoint security product.

- Deep knowledge of and hands-on experience with endpoint security technologies such as EDR, XDR, EPP, and associated solutions, including strong familiarity with malware and threat actor Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
- Strong understanding of OS internals (Windows/Mac/Linux) and IT infrastructure components, including networking, identity management, and cloud services.
- Ability to balance technical depth with leadership priorities, focusing on enabling the team to succeed.

Qualifications
- 7+ years in a customer-facing role, with 4+ years in leadership.
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience leading remote technical teams and driving alignment in a global organization.
- Success in scaling teams and processes in high-growth organizations with an ability to quickly adapt.
- Proven experience exceeding revenue goals while in a leadership role.
