About the Role

Arctic Wolf Networks is looking for a talented Quality Analyst to help us revolutionize the way that cybersecurity is delivered to businesses. Our hardworking team is passionate about building a cloud-based solution that will solve the real world security problems that IT professionals face. This is a hybrid role to our Waterloo office.

About you

  • Enjoys solving technical challenges

  • 2+ years of experience in software quality, testing and automation

  • Excited by the opportunity to learn

  • Loves automating manual processes

  • Experience with automated test infrastructure in a cloud environment

  • Experience with performing exploratory testing approaches to bolster quality

  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies

  • Code comprehension experience with React, Typescript, Go or similar languages

  • Works well within a highly collaborative and functional team

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creation and proper coverage for a test plan, with hands on ability to support the dev team

  • Should use technical understanding to be able to execute end to end test cases for any given project.

  • Accountable for ensuring that test plan is completely executed before the release.

  • Highly collaborative as will be working with development team members on kickstarting projects

  • Act like a glue between different stakeholders and raise quality concerns in timely manner.

  • Actively use metrics to monitor test plan progress.

  • Responsible for leading Bug Triage meetings with different stakeholders.

  • Closely working with Product management in defining success criteria for the project.

  • Lead efforts with the team to define and document testing best practices and strategies

  • Created and executed comprehensive test strategies and test suites

  • Designed and implemented Quality process for highly integrated applications

  • Acquired knowledge and experience in new testing tools and technologies

  • Championed a transformation to a quality focused mindset
