About the Role
The Arctic Wolf product team is looking for a passionate Product Manager to join our Managed Detection and Response product team.
As the Product Manager – Observation Reduction & Optimisation, you will be working alongside and in collaboration with whole of the Managed Detection & Response and ingestion infrastructure teams to identify optimisations and savings within the ingestion pipeline.
You will be working closely with our Security Services, Product and Engineering teams covering all MDR attack surfaces seeking to identify areas for optimisation and observation reduction, translating these into internal projects. These projects, spanning multiple areas and engineering teams, will involve ownership and management of the internal go-to-market and engineering, along with the full lifecycle from concept through successful launch.
You will be responsible for writing product requirements and business justifications for all proposals by curating feedback from the various internal teams and stakeholders. You will be the subject matter expert on all telemetry sourced into the Arctic Wolf infrastructure and pipeline, its purpose, use and justification. You will be responsible for the internal roadmap, ensuring you are delivering on project and corporate goals. You will consistently demonstrate Arctic Wolf’s values in your work and your interactions with stakeholders.
This role requires cross-functional and cross-team collaboration, and the candidate in this role will succeed through partnership, indirect authority, and relationship building as much as technical acumen. Your primary customers in this role will be our internal security, engineering and product teams.
You will also assist with the overall execution of the product function, including ensuring process requirements are met, providing suggestions and improvements to existing product processes, and mentoring and supporting other product team members, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Who You Are:
2 years of product management experience, or similar experience with a transferrable skillset, such as Business Analyst, Project Manager, or others
Experience in software engineering, security, data science, or other deeply technical field

Environment and Physical Demands
Work is primarily sedentary in nature and can be executed sitting or standing positions in an office environment.
Requires ability to utilize technology related to using a keyboard, verbal communication, and work with device screens which require visual acuity.
If located in a company office, often requires the mobility to physically navigate the space.
In the event of business travel, mobility sufficient to utilize public and private transport and navigate to essential locations.
May include moving or lifting of 25 pounds or less (e.g., office chair, reams of paper).
