About the Role
The Technical Trainer will support our Product organization. If you are a skilled instructor with a passion for educating fellow employees, then consider joining our team and contributing to the evolution of our exceptional training programs.
Responsibilities Include:
Design, create, and deliver technical training in a variety of formats (instructor-led, recorded, interactive eLearning)
Rapidly absorb new technologies and distill the information into effective lessons
Create hands-on lab activities in a complex development environment
Maintain and improve existing content library
Become a fount of knowledge: mentor, answer questions, source training, enhance the flow of information.
Create a positive, inclusive, learning environment.

About You
College diploma or university degree in Computer Science, a Computer Security program, or 5 years of experience in a relevant IT sector
Minimum of 2 years as a corporate or product trainer in high-tech, or cybersecurity
Awareness of Adult Learning Principles and their applicability
Able to enthusiastically deliver high-quality, instructor-led training
Able to sound natural and comfortable recording content
Skilled at developing eLearning using Captivate, Active Presenter, or equivalent
Experience with Learn Amp or a related LMS
Effective communicator with mature interpersonal skills
Fearless speaking in front of a crowd
Charismatic, energetic personality who actively engages with learners
Other Beneficial Skills and Experience:
Javascript or other scripting experience a plus

Experience with:
Amazon Web Services, S3, and CloudFormation
Linux, Docker, and Bash shell

Knowledge of the following is a bonus:
Version control
Task/Knowledge Management software
Text to speech
Continuous integration / continuous deployment
Comfortable with Visual Studio Code or similar IDE
Proactive mentality
Ability to detect a teachable moment and take full advantage of it
Quick-witted and/or sense of humour with the maturity to know when to use it
CompTIA CTT+ Technical Trainer certification a plus
CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Ability to get things done
