The Opportunity:
India Key Account Sales Associate Director is a new role at ApplyBoard. This senior leader will manage the Enterprise International Recruitment Managers responsible for driving strategic engagement and integration with our Key (top segment) recruitment Partners in India. The leader will be expected to play the role of executive sponsor with these accounts, own the GTM strategy for this segment and manage sales execution.

Reporting to the Head of Sales for India, the Director of India Key Accounts at ApplyBoard will be responsible for directing a team of Enterprise Recruitment Managers. You will play a critical role in driving results, setting targets, and developing strategies to acquire new key recruitment partners while expanding the wallet share of existing partners. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring the success and growth of our recruitment efforts across India.

Location: Delhi or Gurgaon

What you’ll be doing :

  • Direct a team of Enterprise Recruitment Managers responsible for managing India’s key accounts

  • Provide inspirational and motivational leadership to drive employee engagement and high morale.

  • Coach individual representatives through phone work and account management help sessions to improve performance.

  • Set targets, performance plans, and rigorous objective standards for teams and representatives.

  • Meet with Enterprise Recruitment managers one-on-one weekly to review performance, progress, and targets.

  • Deliver performance reviews for each leader once per semester.

  • Develop and deliver compelling sales strategies, supported by presentations and proposals that demonstrate the value of our products and services to key accounts

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with key accounts

  • Track and report on sales performance against targets, and provide regular updates to senior management

  • Analyze results and develop plans to address performance gaps.

  • Project and forecast student enrollment by key account

  • Recruit, select, onboard, and train new managers and international recruitment officers.

  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly activities necessary to achieve objectives and goals.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences.

  • Ensure CRM and other technology adoption according to standards.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (including product, marketing, and customer success) to ensure that key accounts are receiving the best possible service and support. Identify opportunities to expand our business with key accounts through cross-selling and upselling

  • Collaborate with other members of the sales team to share best practices and improve overall performance

  • Establishing efficient communication channels and liaising between key clients and internal departments

  • Staying updated with competition and macro market conditions

What you bring to the table:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within Enterprise Account management experience or within the education or recruitment sector.

  • Strong track record of driving results and meeting performance targets.

  • 10+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of managing strategic accounts and exceeding sales targets

  • Experience selling complex solutions to enterprise-level customers

  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies.

  • Proficient in CRM and other sales technology tools.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop action plans.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Willingness to travel as needed
