The Opportunity:

ApplyBoard is seeking a Sales Finance Manager to partner closely with the Sales and GTM leadership team. At ApplyBoard, Finance is all about business partnership in enabling business leaders meet their goals and drive results for the company. We do this by leveraging data and insights to identify trends, connect the dots and participate in day to day decision making at the company. You'll get substantial leadership exposure, focus on the highest-priority business issues and gain understanding of a high growth technology business.

What you’ll be doing every day:

  • Be a strategic business partner to Sales leadership and help them make better business decisions. Delivering insights to enable decision making based on data, KPIs and metrics.

  • Consolidate monthly forecasts from all business lines and create a detailed corporate forecast and present it to the CFO on a monthly basis

  • Deliver monthly/quarterly quantitative and qualitative analysis of the financial results, including variances to plan, ensuring key issues, risks, and business drivers are understood and highlighted

  • Support forecasting, headcount planning, resource allocation, discretionary expense tracking, and company-wide annual planning

  • Provide insightful and actionable recommendations for decision-making to the Sales leaders through accurate and timely data analysis

  • Own process improvements across the entire lead-to-cash cycle, including driving discipline in deal structure, execution, and pricing

  • Drive the company’s pricing strategy and provide in depth analysis along with comprehensive understand of consumer insights, and work cross functionally to help operationalize that strategy

  • Be a critical stakeholder in the incentive compensation process to drive the highest Sales ROI

  • Work with accounting, operations, analytics and other departments to build finance systems for scale.

  • Prepare materials for quarterly board meetings and investor presentations

  • Help us build a world class FP&A team

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economic related field

  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent experience a plus

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in GTM Finance or Sales Ops at a technology company with prior experience in banking or consulting

  • Demonstrated ability to develop trusted cross functional relationships, influencing decisions at scale, and driving alignment with key partners

  • Comfort with large unorganized datasets, partnering closely with analytics, Sales operations and systems teams to connect the dots and drive insights

  • Exceptional presentation and writing skills, along with the ability to clearly communicate messages that link business issues, financial results, and strategy at the executive level.

  • Deadline-driven, organized, and able to multi-task with the willingness to adapt to the rapid business and organizational demands that result from a high-growth environment

  • Self-starter with unquestionable integrity

  • Passionate, high-energy, impactful team-player

  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Salesforce, Netsuite, and Planful.
