Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Head of Sales for India at ApplyBoard will be responsible for directing a team of recruitment leaders who oversee recruitment professionals. You will play a critical role in driving results, setting targets, and developing strategies to acquire new partners while expanding the wallet share of existing partners. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring the success and growth of our recruitment efforts across India.

What you will do:

  • Direct a team of recruitment leaders responsible for leading teams of recruitment professionals.

  • Provide inspirational and motivational leadership to drive employee engagement and high morale.

  • Coach leaders and individual representatives through phone work and prospecting help sessions to improve performance.

  • Set targets, performance plans, and rigorous objective standards for teams and representatives.

  • Meet with managers one-on-one weekly to review performance, progress, and targets.

  • Deliver performance reviews for each leader once per quarter.

  • Track team metrics and share them with the executive team.

  • Analyze results and develop plans to address performance gaps.

  • Develop go-to-market strategies to acquire new partners and expand the wallet share of existing partners.

  • Project and forecast student enrollment by market.

  • Collaborate with marketing executives to develop lead generation plans.

  • Drive and manage a scalable recruiting and account management process.

  • Recruit, select, onboard, and train new managers and international recruitment officers.

  • Hold regular skills training sessions with internal or external trainers.

  • Ensure CRM and other technology adoption according to standards.

  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly activities necessary to achieve objectives and goals.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences.

  • Monitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trends.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the education or recruitment sector.

  • Strong track record of driving results and meeting performance targets.

  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies.

  • Proficient in CRM and other sales technology tools.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop action plans.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
