ABR operates a software licensing and royalty revenue model. Our models are deployed as embedded software running on third-party edge processors from leading silicon vendors including Nvidia, NXP, Qualcomm, Alif Semiconductor, STMicroelectronics, Renesas, and others. We do not sell hardware; we sell best-in-class neural network IP that OEMs and device makers integrate into their products.

ABR is at an inflection point. Our technology is proven, our models are benchmarked against the best in the industry, and early customer traction is building. We are now seeking a talented AI Engineer to contribute to the development of our next generation AI models and help scale ABR into a market-defining company.

The Opportunity

ABR is looking for an engineer or computer scientist to contribute to the development of our next generation AI models. We are focused on leveraging our invention of State Space Models and development of novel fractional binding methods to advance autonomous systems. The position includes a variety of tasks including AI training and inference, SDK development, and targeting of specific hardware platforms. Applications of the AI models include ASR, TTS, SLMs, navigation and decision-making systems among others.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in either engineering or computer science (Master’s or PhD desired)
• Experience with and past research in AI model development (training through inference)
• Familiarity with best practices in production embedded software development

Desired Experience

• Writing and testing high quality AI software
• Experience with remote work and online collaboration tools
• Writing and testing of production quality SDKs for AI deployment
• Application of state-of-the-art methods in LLMs
• Familiarity with state space models
• Familiarity with quantization-aware training methods and other inference optimization techniques
• Familiarity with embedded software and targeting low resource hardware
• Targeting AI accelerators for efficient training and inference

Skills

Required

• Proficient in Python, Java, C and C++
• Proficient with the Unix command line
• Comfort with a wide variety of development environments, and rapidly changing roles across projects
• Willingness and ability to quickly learn the technologies employed on site
