- Support the sales and customer success teams with technology evaluation, including application assessment, polymer recommendations, and print process development.
- Design parts for additive manufacturing and slice geometries based on the functional requirements outlined by clients.
- Development filament profiles based on open-market materials and create documentation to support customer implementation.
- Act as a subject matter expert for internal teams to develop slicing support and improve next-generation additive manufacturing products.
- Act as a project manager and own numerous concurrent projects with varying priority, scope, and complexity.
- Stay current with new developments and trends in additive manufacturing and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably with a focus in material engineering, polymer science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Experience in additive manufacturing using fused filament fabrication 3D printing.
- Experience with any open 3D printing Slicers: SuperSlicer/PrusaSlicer, Cura or Simplify3D.
- Experience with CAD software such as Solidworks or Fusion 360 is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada - Citizen, Permanent Resident or holds an Open Work Permit.
